GuideRelay provides Discord moderation, discipline management, stream notifications and social media notification services.

Information We Collect

GuideRelay may store information required to provide its services, including:

• Discord server IDs, user IDs, role IDs and channel IDs.
• Moderation and disciplinary case information.
• Private staff notes entered by authorised server staff.
• Evidence files uploaded by authorised server staff.
• Social media usernames, channel IDs and account identifiers configured for notifications.
• Authentication tokens where required to connect an authorised social media account.
• Technical logs used to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.

How Information Is Used

Information is used only to operate GuideRelay features, including:

• Managing Discord disciplinary records and actions.
• Delivering Twitch, YouTube and TikTok notifications.
• Maintaining server-specific configuration.
• Preventing duplicate notifications.
• Maintaining service security, reliability and backups.

Social Media Connections

Where a user connects a supported social media account, GuideRelay accesses only the permissions required for the enabled feature. Authentication credentials are stored securely on the GuideRelay server and are not displayed publicly.

TikTok account information is used only to retrieve information required to provide authorised TikTok content notifications.

Discord Moderation Data

Disciplinary information is separated by Discord server. Evidence and private staff notes are intended only for authorised staff and are not included in disciplinary direct messages sent to members.

Data Storage and Security

GuideRelay data is hosted on secured server infrastructure. Access to sensitive configuration files, databases and evidence storage is restricted. Backups may be retained to protect against accidental data loss.

Data Sharing

GuideRelay does not sell personal information. Information may be sent to services such as Discord, Twitch, Google/YouTube and TikTok only when required to provide the requested functionality.

Data Retention

Information is retained for as long as reasonably required to provide GuideRelay services, maintain moderation records, meet operational requirements or protect the integrity of the service.

Removing Connected Accounts or Data

Server administrators may remove configured social media accounts from GuideRelay. Requests relating to stored personal data or connected accounts can also be made using the contact details below.
